This course will focus mainly on reading and reading strategies, accompanying with weekly listening tactics. Regarding to reading and reading strategies, the aim is to help students to approach written material with different objectives, to read for meaning, and to process information and ideas as you read. Students are also required to read a fiction book every semester in order to strengthen your reading habit. For listening tactics, in order to give students experience with listening to a variety of text types, course material would be taken from TV, video clips, and all kinds of audio clips from various textbooks.
